About Me

I've written a few books and played a few pranks. I'm a long-time veteran of creative campaigns for social change. I started a company. We won a few awards. On a good day I'm funny. On a bad day, political. On a really bad day, philosophical. I've hitchhiked through snowstorms, jumped freight across the desert, designed existential clocks, and exorcised the commodity value out of 25 green bicycles. I'm a born and bred New Yorker, but I've lived in a host of other places: Barcelona, London, Michigan, Baltimore, San Francisco, Boston. Now I'm back in New York's Lower East Side, a few blocks from where my Romanian-immigrant grandfather used to work as a tailor. Until I come up with my own lifelong ambition, I've been cribbing Milan Kundera's: "to unite the utmost serious of question with the utmost lightness of form."
